Gerry D. Swaim Jr.

Gerry D. Swaim Jr., 51, of Rockville, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.

He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on April 19, 1974, to Gerry D. and Barbara (Daugherty) Swaim Sr. who precede Gerry in death along with a brother, Harold Swaim.

Gerry is survived by his children, Madison Swaim of Springfield, MO., Cassandra Swaim of Danville, IL., Chase Swaim of Mayfield, KY, and Alexis Swaim of Mayfield, KY., brother Mike Thomas of Kentucky; grandchildren, D.J., Olivia, Austin, Reese, Maxx, Cillian, and Payton, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be at Frist Funeral Home on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Thomas Cemetery in Newport.
