Glen D. Thompson, 83, of Ridge Farm, IL passed away in Danville, IL., on August 16, 2022.

He was born in Marshall, IL on March 4, 1939, to Ray and Edna Ramoser Thompson.

He was a member of the AECC Ministerial Alliance, the Chrisman Ministerial Alliance, he was the Pastor of the Friends Chapel in Chrisman, IL., and a member of the United States Army.

He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Wanda Lou Maser Thompson, 2 brothers Herman & Harold Dean Thompson.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Smith Thompson a son Eric Thompson of Ridge Farm, IL., 2 daughters Juanita Sisk (David) of Terre Haute and Yolanda Eckels (Christopher) of Australia. Four brothers Robert Q. Thompson (Carol) of Marshall, IL., Ray R. Thompson (Esther) of Greenup, IL., Warren Thompson (Terri) of Montezuma, IN., Melvin Thompson (Jane) of Marshall, IL. Four sisters Marcella Scott (Ron) of Arizona, Janet Hetherington of Danville, IL., Charlotte Brown (Tom) of Marshall, IL., and Wanda K. Pine (Rick) of Marsahll, IL. Grandchildren Victorianna Sisk, Gabriel Sisk, Abbagayle Kinsel, Rischala Eckels, Rachel Eckels, Jermemiah Eckels & Noah Eckels and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday August 26, 2022, from 10:00 to 11:00am Illinois time with Service following at 11:00am at Friends Chapel 20737 E. 2300 Road, Chrisman IL 61924. Rev. Mary McCrite is officiating.
