Henrietta Mae Bisping, 86, of Dana, Indiana, passed away on Monday evening, January 22, 2024.
She was born in Rural Beecher, Illinois to parents Richard and Lila Cross, who preceded her in death.
Henrietta married her childhood sweetheart Robert Bisping, and they were married for 64 years before he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Lanny, Kenneth, and Harvey Cross.
She is survived by her children, son Kevin T. Bisping (wife Julia) of Indiana and son Michael Bisping of
Georgia, 8 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, siblings Chester Cross of Manteno Illinois, Deanne Bisping of Monee, Illinois, Laurel-Li Mack of Sandwich, Illinois, and Leroy Cross of Riverdale, Illinois.
Throughout her life she worked as a secretary, bookkeeper, office manager and accountant. She and her husband enjoyed square dancing and family gatherings. She would throw herself into cooking all day, setting the kitchen ablaze with so many of the families’ most sought-after, famous recipes, kept warm and ready for even the latest of arrivals.
Henrietta was a wonderful loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who was always there for us all at any time. Her beautiful presence will be forever beloved and missed.
Per Henrietta’s wishes there will be no service. Cremation was chosen.
