Jane E (Persinger) Hollingsworth

Jane E. Hollingsworth, 85, of St. Bernice, died at 1:00 PM, April 25th, 2026, in her residence.  She was born September 5, 1940, in Clinton, to Paul Houston Persinger and Geneva Louise Usrey Persinger.  

She had retired from Eli Lilly.  She was a member of the State Line Christian Church, a Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan, and an avid bowler.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerald Hollingsworth; one son, Joey Hollingsworth; one daughter, Melissa Hrovat; daughter in law, Tina Hollingsworth; and seven siblings.  

She is survived by two daughters, Penny Wormsbacher of Terre Haute and Barbara Williamson of St. Bernice; one son, Jerry Hollingsworth of Dana; one brother, Jim and Joann Persinger of Covington; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  

Visitation will be 1:00-3:00 on Tuesday, April 28th at Frist Funeral Home.  Services will begin at 3:00 PM with Reverend Ben Hannum officiating.  Burial will follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
