Jean Donna Brock, 83 years of age of Clinton, Indiana passed away on January 2nd, 2025, in Terre Haute. She passed peacefully after a yearlong battle with cancer.

She was born September 17, 1941, in Lynch, Kentucky to John Earl and Jesse Alfreda Sconce Pippin. Soon thereafter she and her family moved north to Indiana, following work in the coal fields of the Midwest. She would make Clinton her lifelong home.

Jean wore many hats in her adult working career but was most proud of her 36 years serving as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and working at Union Health Clinton. There she shined her brightest and made countless lifelong friends and memories. Throughout her life she served the public and held past memberships to the Phi Beta Psi Sorority and Clinton Hospital Guild. She engaged in Bunco Club Memberships and anything to do with playing cards with friends and family.

Preceding her in death were her parents, an infant sister Julia Ann, beloved maternal sister Janis Pippin Boatman and Janet Pippin Kirby.

Jean leaves behind three children, Vaughn Brock, John (Leann) Brock, and Donna Ann Brock. Her beloved granddaughters, Makenzi Brock, Brooklyn Brock Harrison (Nathaniel), and Bailey Brock Furry (Dillon), along with her precious Great-Grandchildren Jeanette, Liam, and John Paul. She never strayed far from her kitty-cat “Tipper” who she loved like a child, or the countless friends who shaped and filled her daily life. Her calling was to live her life as we all should, with compassion and love for everyone. That undying love will be missed by family and friends alike.

Open visitation will be at Frist Funeral Home from 4:00PM to 7:00PM on Tuesday, January 7th with a short service to follow. Private Graveside Service will be held Wednesday January 8th.
