Jeanette Marie Overstreet Kingma, 83, of Clinton passed away at her home on Tuesday, May 6, 2025,

She was born in Roanoke, Virginia on June 20, 1941, to William C. Overstreet and Juanita M. Payne.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Kingma, brother Robert Overstreet, stepdaughter Carol Treece, step sons-in-law: K. Dale Best and Bruce Treece, and great-grandson Matthew Bogan.

Those left behind to honor Jeanette’s memory are her daughter Julie (Rusty) Uselman of Clinton, son Jim (Shawna) Kendrick of Clinton, stepdaughters: Linda (Randy) Bogan, Bonnie Best and Peggy Kingma all of Lafayette, sisters: Carolyn (Wayne) Harvey of Texas, Mary Ann (David) Scott of Georgia, Dee Overstreet of West Virginia and Billie (Eddie) Spencer of Virginia, grandchildren Kyle and Claire Kendrick, step grandchildren: Wesley (Heather) Bogan, Christy (Kory) Arvin, Leif (Amanda Newgent) O’Brien), Keavy (Ryan) McCoy West and Anthony (Wendy) Dulin; great-grandchildren: Noah and Zachary O’Brien, Ryne McCoy, Gabriel West, Nicholas Dulin, Mason and Ean Bogan and Caroline and Christian Arvin and several nieces and nephews.

Final arrangements have been entrusted to Frist Funeral Home. Cremation has been chosen and there will be no service.
