Jerry R. Stateler, 87, of Clinton passed away on Tuesday September 20, 2022.
He was born in Clinton on February 21, 1935, to Raymond Stateler and Lucy Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
He is survived by his wife Marlene Stateler, son Mike Stateler (Terri) of Clinton, brother Ron Stateler (Connie) of Clinton, granddaughters Courtney (Jesse) and Caitlin (Nate).
Jerry and Marlene were married for Sixty-Eight years, he was a graduate of Clinton High School Class of 1954; he served in the United States Airforce; he was a Fifty-year member of the Remington Masonic Lodge; he was a retired Indiana State Police Detective as well as a former Clinton City Police Chief.
There will be a private service at Frist Funeral Home.
