Jimmie D. Wright, 90, of Clinton, died at 10:32 AM, February 26, 2022, in his residence. He was born, February 10, 1932, in Clinton to Leo Wright and Rhoda Runyan Wright.
He was retired from Public Service Indiana/Duke Energy. He was a 1950 graduate of Clinton High School. He was also a member of the Clinton United Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pat Wright; and two brothers, Rodger Wright...

March 1, 2022 8:37 PMJimmie was was my nephew and my friend. We were only three years apart in age, so we grew up together. Popping corn, hunting mushrooms and shelling black walnuts on top of the family shed kept us very busy. We made the best fudge with those walnuts.
When we both married and had kids, our families lived across from the alley from each other in the south end of Clinton. Jimmie worked hard and went to sleep early, but Pat and I would stay up late at their house, just laughing and talking. Our whole family loved Pat and she was a wonderful daughter-in-law for Leo and Boots ( Rhoda). Pat and Jim also made a home for Jims brother Rodger and cared for Roddy until he passed away.
