Jimmie D. Wright, 90, of Clinton, died at 10:32 AM, February 26, 2022, in his residence.  He was born, February 10, 1932, in Clinton to Leo Wright and Rhoda Runyan Wright.

He was retired from Public Service Indiana/Duke Energy.  He was a 1950 graduate of Clinton High School.  He was also a member of the Clinton United Pentecostal Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pat Wright; and two brothers, Rodger Wright and Jerry Wright.

He is survived by nine children, Jimmie D. and Milinda Wright of Clinton, Teri and George Roberts of Clinton, Lori and Randy Butler of Farmersburg, Jeff and Annette Wright of Decatur, AL, Gary Wright and Debi Mack, of Clinton, David and Kara Wright of MS, Nathaniel Wright of Greencastle, Jason and Carrie Wright of St. Bernice, and Jennifer and Brandon Wilson of CO; 21 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  Also surviving are sister-in-law, Barbara Foltz of Clinton and brother-in-law, Jim Shannon of Clinton. 

Visitation will be March 4, 2022, from 11:00-1:00 at Frist Funeral Home.  Services will begin at 1:00 with Reverend Tim Yocum officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made at www.fristfuneralhome.com.
