John L. Beard

John L. Beard, 68, of Clinton passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. Born in Clinton, Indiana on November 26, 1957, to William Beard and Shirley (McCollom) Beard who precede John in death. Also preceding him are sisters, Corletta Beard and Thelma Benson.

John was a graduate of Clinton High School class of 1976.

Surviving John is his son, Jonathon M. Beard of Terre Haute, stepsons, Brian Craft of Terre Haute, and Jeremy Craft (Rose) of Terre Haute, brothers, Charles Beard (Frances) of Clinton, James Beard (Paula) of Lyford, and Mark Beard (Candy) of North Carolina, and grandchildren Michael and Kaylee Craft.

Visitation will be at Frist Funeral Home on Wednesday February 11, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Service at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Charles Beard officiating. Private burial will follow.
