Joseph David Haddix Obituary

Joseph David Haddix, 78, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at his home in Clinton.


He was born on December 23, 1947, in Paris, Illinois to Wendell Haddix Sr. and Alberta (Collier) Haddix.


After graduating high school Joseph served in the United States Navy from 1967 to 1971. He and Alice Darlene Randolph were marred on October 14,1972 in Paris, IL. Joseph was a retired welder, having worked several places over the years including Mid States, Hyster, Lennox Steel and Summerlot. He loved watching IU basketball (especially Bobby Knight) and NASCAR, and his favorite past-time was going fishing.


Joseph was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Wendell Haddix Jr., Steve Haddix, and Terry Lee Haddix; and Infant sister, Patricia Lynn Haddix.


Surviving Joseph is his wife, Alice Darlene Haddix; son, David Lee Haddix (Kathy) of Mount Washington, KY., daughter, Melissa Haddix of Clinton; sister, Sheryl Inman of Kansas, IL., and granddaughters Kaida and Piper; and several nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery Chapel on Monday, June 8, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Service at 2:00 p.m.
