Judy Kay (Estep) Russell

Judy Kay Russell, 76, gained her wings and went home to be with the Lord Thursday, May 2, 2024. She was born in Fonthill, Kentucky on July 6, 1947, to William and Dolly Estep.

Those preceding Judy in death are her parents, daughter Gina Russell, sisters Betty June Snyder, Dorothy Pace (Clarence), and Nancy Schooler (Victor) and brother James Estep.

Judy enjoyed being outdoors whether it was gardening or spending time with loved ones on her porch. She also enjoyed watching General Hospital, writing poetry, drawing, and journaling.

She is survived by her children Shellanni “Shelley” Russell of Terre Haute, John Russell (Desi) of St. Bernice, Bonnie Holtkamp (Mike) of Clinton, Darla Minor (Bob) of Clinton; brother Willilam Estep (Margie) of Crawfordsville; sister Gloria Snodgrass (Dennis) of Annapolis; her beloved grandchildren Christoper Jackson, Cimber Kwan, Susanna Curtis, Jeremy Jackson, Jackie, Conner and Taylor Russell, Kaylee Gordon, Kierstin Ritchey, Isabelle, Harrison, and Tess Holtkamp, Kerrigan, Kenley and Keelyn Minor, along with several great-grandchildren.

Final arrangements have been entrusted to Frist Funeral Home. Cremation was chosen. A private celebration of life will be held in her honor at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by her family.
