Karen K. Walcher, 63, passed away on July 7, 2022, in Terre Haute, IN. She was born on April 29, 1959, in San Diego, CA to John Dallas Walcher and Marjorie Wilkerson.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband William Hiatt; three sons, Matthew S. Hiatt of Beaumont, CA., Joshua R. Hiatt of Prairieton, IN., Michael A. Walcher of Highland, CA.; and her daughter Destiny A. Hiatt of Desert Hot Springs, CA. her brother Steve Walcher and her sister Jacquelyn Christiansen; her grandchildren Aaliyah Hernandez, Emily Hiatt, Bailey Hiatt, Joshua Hiatt, Jayden Hiatt, Adalyn Hiatt, and Elena Hiatt.

She was a loving wife, mother & sister. She was also a wonderful grandmother to all her grandchildren, and she will be missed dearly.  Karen was the proudest mom and celebrated all her kid’s accomplishments no matter how big or small. Above all things she experienced in life she would rise above it and make the best of it with a smile. She loved to tell jokes and make people laugh; she was funny and loved to laugh. She had a song for almost every conversation and had the biggest heart and always treated her dogs and cats as part of her family. Karen cherished her miniature collectables, jewelry and loved “Better then sex cake” as she always touted it as the best dessert in the world. Karen loved watching and cheering on the Yankee’s with her son Michael. Karen was honest and truthful no matter the situation. On Jan 20th Karen replied to a Facebook post which pictured an old lady with a slingshot “As I’ve grown older, I’ve learned that pleasing everyone is impossible, but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake”- Karen- “Boy, If that ain’t the truth.”

Service will be at the Set Free Church in Yucaipa, CA on Saturday August 27, 2022, at 11:00 California time with Pastor Marshall officiating.

Cremation was chosen.
