Kay (Houston) Wimsett, 86, of Clinton, passed away, in her home in Mesa, AZ, on June 17, 2022. She was born January 19, 1936, in Clinton to James Houston and Elsie Robertson Houston.
She married Robert Wimsett on July 2, 1961. Robert passed away in February of 2019.
Kay is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Gloria Gay Houston and Nora Houston Miller; and two brothers, Jim Houston and Robert Houston.
She is survived by one brother, Jerry Houston (Norma) of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a private family service with visitation on Friday from 1:00-2:00 PM, services to follow at 2pm at Frist Funeral Home and burial at Wesley Chapel, with Marta Adubato officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.fristfuneralhome.com.
