Leanna Kelley, 61, of Hillsdale, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at 4:48 pm at her residence.
She was born on December 17, 1959, in Clinton, to Leland and Ruth Ann Swinford.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leland Swinford and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Survivors include her husband, Mitch Kelley of Hillsdale whom she married on November 3, 1984 at Salem Methodist Church in Hillsdale; her son, Mitchell R. (Sarah Mae) Kelley of Toney, Ala; her  daughter, Sarah Sue (Tim) Dean of Clinton; mother, Ruth Ann Swinford of Hillsdale; sisters, Marsha (Doug) West of Clinton and Jeanette Wyres of Clinton; brother, Rick (Lori) Swinford of Hillsdale; 2 grandchildren, Kierra and Kaya Kelley; father-in-law, Richard Kelley of Clinton; mother-in-law, Carolyn Sue Kelley of Clinton; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mark and Brenda Kelley of St. Bernice, Sue Ellen and Steve Johnson of Atherton, and Matt and Kathy Kelley of Ft. Wayne; and several nieces and nephews.
Leanna was active in 4-H and held yearly yard sales to obtain funds for scholarships for the Help Award for North Vermillion and South Vermillion Schools.  She also loved going to casinos.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
