Linda Lou (Iozzi) Carty

Linda Lou Carty, 76, of Rockville, died April 23, 2026, in St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on September 20, 1949, in New Kensington, PA, to James Iozzi and Margaret Peggy Kelly Iozzi. She was a CNA and a member of the Sugar Grove Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Loureen Carty; half-brother, Lenny Iozzi; and her former husband, Rick Carty, Sr.

She is survived by her sons, Rick Carty, Jr. of Knoxville, TN., and Travis Carty of Rockville; half-sister Sue Cisnoras of California; grandchildren, Ellie Carty, Blayne Roberts, Landyn Hollingsworth, and Bryson Carty, and two nieces, Darla Carty and Kelly Carty Jeffries.

Cremation was chosen. There will be a funeral service at Sugar Grove Methodist Church, 16362 N. 2300th St., E. Chrisman, IL., on Friday, May 1st, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. (EST/Indiana Time) with Pastor Bill Duke Officiating.
