Mark A. Devins Sr., 53 of Hillsdale passed away on Saturday July 20, 2024, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born in Clinton, Indiana on May 14, 1971, to Connie Devins and John Benton.

Those preceding Mark in death are his stepfather Rowdy Bennett; grandparents Mildred and Pearl Devins, Anna Margaret and Delbert Fravel, and Jay Benton.

Mark was a graduate of South Vermillion High School Class of 1989. He was involved with Extreme XC Race Series and loved racing his quad and being a track sweep to help others. Mark enjoyed tinkering in his garage fixing things, anything having to do with being outdoors, and especially spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Surviving is his mother Connie Bennett of Clinton; Father John Benton (Rebekah) of Dana; daughters Ashley Oaks (Mark) of Kingman, and Tori Linnenkamp of Universal; son Mark Devins Jr. (Halie) of Clinton; brothers Shane Carty of Clinton and Jay Benton (Summer) of Richland, WI; grandchildren Brayden and Waylen Oaks, Lincoln Devins, Keeley Willis and Brylee Shaffer; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other special extended family and friends.

Visitation will be at Frist Funeral Home on Saturday July 27, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Service at 1:00 p.m. Cremation will follow.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Park-Vermillion Humane Society in memory of Mark. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
