Marta Kay Adubato, 66, of Clinton passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, after a brief illness.
She was born in Peoria, IL on August 7, 1956, to Martin Wimsett and Priscilla Blue Wimsett.
Marta was preceded in death by her mom Priscilla and her brother John Wimsett.
She is survived by her husband Charles of Clinton, her son Joel Avila, her dad Martin & stepmother Charlene of Dana, her sister Mona Harney (Rodney) of Rockville and her grandson Gideon.
Marta was the Minister of the Bono United Methodist Church; she was a graduate of Clinton High School Class of 1974.
Marta was a kind, caring, person who ministered to many people. She officiated many funerals and weddings with her personal touch and was loved by so many. She will be missed by her family, her many friends, her congregation at her church, and by her cats, whom she considered her “babies”. She has touched so many lives and will never be forgotten.
Visitation will be at Bono United Methodist Church Saturday October 8, 2022, from 10am – 1pm with service at 1:00 Rev. Lucas Lane officiating.
Cremation was chosen.
