Mary "Pat" (Cox) Pope Obituary

Mary “Pat” Pope, 85, of Clinton passed away on Monday January 29, 2024, at her home.

Pat was born in Staunton, Illinois on May 1, 1938, to Melvin and Edna Cox.

Those preceding Pat in death are her parents, husband Jerry Lee Pope, son Donald James Lotter, daughter Teresa Pope Rawley, and her siblings John Cox, James Cox, Loren Cox, Stephen Cox, Phyllis Cox Hunziker, and Alice Cox.

Pat is survived by her daughter Susan (Bruce) Chapman, son Butch (Kathy) Lotter, grandchildren Donald, Michael, Ryan, Michael, Rayven, Terryn, Jeremy, Nathanyal, and David, and her great-grandchildren Jake, Lilliana, Teygan, Brynlee, Bayleigh, Patricia, Nova, and Lillian.

Pat was a knitter at Billie Creek Village and a tutor at the elementary school. She was a member of the Rosedale Ladies Auxiliary Post 290.

Per Pat’s wishes there will be no services. Cremation was chosen.
