Mary Beverly (Crowder) Hunter

Mary Beverly Hunter, 90, of Clinton, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021 in Union Hospital in Clinton.

Mary was born August 17, 1931 in Clinton to Charles Crowder and Margaret Dunlop Crowder. 

She worked for years as an educator. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Clinton. Mary was a former member of OES #254.

She is preceded in death by both parents; husband, Donald Hunter; nieces, Kelly Lackey, Catherine McBride; great-nephew, Matt McBride.

Mary Beverly is survived by siblings, Lila McBride of TN, Doyne and Marion Crowder of Danville, IN; special friend, Paula Shoaff; niece, Blythe (Randy) McDaniel of Riley; nephews, Scott McBride of Fort Myers, FL, Brent (Stacy) Crowder of Carmel; great-nieces, Meghan Pepela, Michelle (Dion) Scott, Stephanie Lackey, Paris (Marquis) Brand; great-nephews, Travis McBride, Kyle Lackey; great-great-nieces, Ja’maria Brand, Emersyn Pepelea; great-great nephew, Marquis Brand, Jr.; several cousins.

Visitation for Mary Beverly Hunter will be held Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 11am to 1pm at Frist Funeral Home in Clinton. Services will be at 1pm on Thursday, also at the funeral home, with Rev. Don Rissler officiating. Burial at Walnut Grove will follow services.
