Michael S. Peperak, 69, Clinton, passed away March 30, 2022, at 6:28 PM, in Terre Haute, Indiana.  He was born March 2, 1953, in Clinton, to Anthony Peperak and Alice Cox Peperak.

He was a 1971 graduate of Clinton High School. He then went on to graduate from Indiana State University. He retired after teaching in the South Vermillion School Corporation for 33 years.  He married Linda Yowell Peperak on July 15, 1973. He coached elementary school boys basketball, as well.  Mike loved working outdoors and spending time with family.  He was a member of the Indiana State Retired Teachers Association and the Parke-Vermillion Retired Teachers.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Kevin Peperak; and a niece, Leah Peperak.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Yowell Peperak; children, Alyson (Andrew) Atlas of Fishers, IN and Michael P. (Heather) Peperak of West Terre Haute; sisters, Lana Peperak of Clinton and Loretta Peperak of Clinton; one brother, Robert (Vickie) Peperak of Cayuga; grandchildren, Connor, Brady and Lauren Atlas and Raelynn and Emmerson Peperak; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 PM on Monday, April 4 at Frist Funeral Home.  Services will begin at 2:00 PM.  Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made at www.fristfuneralhome.com.
