Michael Ray Spurr, 63, of Clinton, passed away at Union Hospital in Terre Haute on Wednesday, March 24, 2021.
He was born in Clinton on July 9, 1957, to Gerald C. and Evelyn Downing Spurr.
He was a coal miner and worked as an examiner for the mines.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Jerry Spurr, and a nephew, Brian Bumgarner.
Survivors include his daughters, Misty Spurr, Evansville, IN, and Julie Jones, Terre Haute, IN, a son, Michael Taylor, Clinton, IN, three sisters, Lynn (Jim) Newlin, Boonville, IN, Cindi (Danny) Wagner, Vevay, IN, Lisa (Terry) Goetz, Montezuma, IN, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He also leaves behind the love of his life, Cindy Taylor Spurr.
No visitation or services are scheduled and cremation was chosen.
Frist Funeral Home was entrusted with the care and arrangements.
