Penny E. (Noblitt) York

Penny E. York, 74, passed away on Sunday April 5, 2026, at her home in West Terre Haute.

She was born in Clinton, Indiana on May 22, 1951, to Jack and Shirley (Kispert) Noblitt both precede Penny in death along with her husband Bill York and brother, Gary Noblitt.

Penny worked as a hairdresser and as a C.N.A. and attended St. Mary’s Village Church.

Surviving is her son, Chad E. York (Kristen) of Elwood, IN., granddaughter Koti M. Buckallew (Austin) of West Terre Haute, friends, Monica Williams and Debbie Szatkowski, and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a grave side service at Shirley Cemetery in Universal on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Robert Roush officiating. Burial will follow.
