Phillip “Phil” Bertolino

 79, of Clinton, passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Vermillion Convalescent Center in Clinton.

Phil was born in Centenary on June 8, 1942, to Dominick Joseph and Beulah Stuper Bertlino.

He was retired from maintenance at I.S.U., and was a member of Sugar Grove Methodist Church in Chrisman, IL.

He is preceded in death by both parents; sister, Joan Walters; granddaughter, Billie Jo Evitt; great-granddaughter, Krystina Sheppard.

Phil is survived by his loving wife, Betty, of Clinton; children, Russell Anderson (Barbara) of Paris, IL, Gertrude Studey (Randy) of Clinton; sister, Julia Pender (Preston) of Centenary; grandchildren, Amanda Sheppard (Thomas) of Paris, Rachel Powell (Scott) of Paris, Joe Studey (Dorcas) of Paris, Danny Studey Clinton, Diedre Anderson of Paris, Kathryn Anderson of Paris, Christopher Asbury of Paris.

Visitation will be held on 1 to 3 pm, Friday, October 29, 2021, at First Funeral Home in Clinton, services following promptly at 3pm with Pastor Bill Duke officiating.

Cremation was chosen by family. Frist Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
