Richard Kelley Obituary
Richard L. Kelley, 86, of Clinton, passed away on Sunday February 26, 2023, at The Gibson Family Center for Hospice in Terre Haute.
He was born in Clinton on August 21, 1936, to Stanley Kelley and Bessie Shull Kelley.
Preceding Richard in death are his parents; wife Alice; son Michael and daughter-in-law Stephanie and their three children Michael, Nancy, and Kathy and daughter-in-law Leanna Kelley.
Richard is survived by his sons Mark Kelley (Brenda) of Clinton, Mitch Kelley of Hillsdale, and Matt Kelley (Kathleen) of Ft. Wayne; his daughter Sue Johnson (Steve) of Rosedale; six grandchildren Mark Kelley (Robin), Amanda Morris (Ryan Smith), Benjamin Kelley, Mitch Kelley (Sarah), Sarah Dean (Tim) and Jessica Johnson; and four great grandchildren Kierra Kelley, Kaya Kelley, Michael Kelley, and Madalynn Kelley.
Richard was a Clinton High School graduate class of 1954. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Model T Club. Richard loved Koi fish, flowers, and gardens.
Visitation will be held at Frist Funeral Home on Thursday March 2, 2023, from 4:00 until 6:00 PM. Service at 6:00 with Rev. Keith McIntyre officiating.
Cremation was chosen.
