Robert Doyne Scott, 90, of Dana, died at 6:20 PM, August 4th, 2022, in Clinton Gardens.  He was born July 6, 1932, to Dewey Scott and Addie Lucille Scott, in Battle Ground Lafayette, Indiana. 

He was a graduate of Newport High School.  He was a retired rural mail carrier for the US Postal Service, a Veteran of the US Army Korean War, with his rank being Corporal, a member of the Hillsdale Bible Church, and a resident of Dana for 68 years. 

He is survived by his wife, Reba Marie (Chambers) Scott; three daughters, Bonnie Stackhouse, Connie Hardman, and Darlene (Jerry) James; a sister, Flossie Wilson; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Richard Scott.

Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM on Thursday at the Bono Cemetery Chapel.  Services will begin at 11:00 AM with Reverend Bob Bock officiating.  Military honors will be performed. Frist Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.fristfuneralhome.com.
