Robert E Slover

Robert E. “Bob” Slover, 73, of Saint Bernice, passed away on Tuesday August 30, 2022.

He was born in Chicago, IL on February 13, 1949, to Virgil and Dorothy Brown Slover.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Marléna Thomas Slover, his three brothers, Virgil, Bill, Charles, and his sister Esther Orr.

He is survived by his Three sons Robert Slover (Tracy) of Greenwood, IN, James Slover of Saint Bernice, and Joseph Slover (LeeAnn) of Terre Haute, IN.  Also surviving are a sister Ellen Horton of Texas and 2 grandchildren Dorothy and Margaret.

Robert was a member of the Saint Bernice Sportsman’s Club as well as a former volunteer fireman in Clinton.

Visitation will be on Saturday September 3, 2022, at Frist Funeral Home from 12 to 1pm with service to begin at 1:00pm with burial to follow at Spangler Cemetery.
