Roger K. Potter, 74, passed away at his residence on Monday, August 15, 2022. He was born May 30, 1948, in Jenkins, KY to Clifford and Joann Shortt Potter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Greg Potter.

He is survived by his wife Joan, a son Mark K. Potter and his wife Chrystal Potter of Montana, a daughter Leslie Biddle and her husband Clint Biddle of South Carolina, a brother Mike Potter of Virginia, a sister Linda Leonard of Virginia, and four grandchildren: Levi and Luke K. Potter and Cameron and Grace Biddle.

He was previously a supervisor at Dayton Power/Duke Energy and a special deputy for Vermillion County Sherriff’s Department. He was a veteran of the Coast Guard.

Visitation will be on Wednesday August 17, 2022, from 4:00 – 7:00pm at Frist Funeral Home funeral services will follow at 7:00pm with Reverend Dan Tribuzio officiating.  Cremation will follow.
