Ronald W. Finger, 70, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, August 3, 2022.

He was born on August 15, 1951, in Clinton to Robert J. and Joan Myers Finger.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Vicky Finger; his sister, Laura Persinger; a brother Robert I. Finger and a nephew, Michael Pearman.

He is survived by his 2 sons James Robert Finger of Lebanon, IN and Ronald Finger Jr. of Blanford, IN; his daughter, Angie (Ryan) Thomas; a daughter Kelly (Carlos) Hernandez; a sister, Donna (Jeff) Pearman of Blanford; 6 grandchildren, Alex Southard, Catherine Finger, and Bradley Finger; Nicholes Hernandez, Christian Hernandez and Abby Hernandez and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ron was the president of the Clinton Parks Board.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Frist Funeral Home from 11 am to 1 pm with funeral services beginning at 1 pm.  Rev. Keith McIntyre will officiate, and burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial donations may be made to the Parke-Vermillion County Humane Shelter In memory of Ron.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
