Ronita Jo Vorek, 86, of Clinton passed away on Wednesday June 10, 2026, at The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Terre Haute.
She was born in Clinton, Indiana on October 28, 1939, to Charles Cox and Francis (Vale) Cox who precede Ronita in death along with her nephew, Mark Kashon.
Surviving Ronita is her son, Jeffery Purcell; grandchildren, Bradley Purcell (Lisa), Jeffery Purcell II (Jessica), April Trover (Matt), and Heather Blacketer (Cody); great-grandchildren, Damien (Azalia), Dalton (Cassie), Makenna, Avah, Owen, Reece, and Kendahl; great-great-grandchildren, Cope, Bria, and Evelyn; sister, Junis Kashon and several cousins.
Honoring Ronita’s wishes cremation was chosen. There will be a private cremains burial at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
