Ruth Ann (Bapp) Sappenfield

Ruth Ann Sappenfield, 69, of Clinton passed away on December 19, 2025, at Union Hospital in Clinton.

She was born in Clinton, Indiana on October 12, 1956, to Floyd Bapp and Ida (Rush) Bapp who precede Ruth in death. Also preceding her is her brothers, Augustus and Rick Bapp.

Surviving Ruth are her daughters, Jerrica Sappenfield (Anthony Coonce) of Clinton, and Dale-Ann Elkins (Justin) of Arkansas, sons, Floyd D. Sappenfield (Brittany) of Clinton; her life partner George Sappenfield of Clinton; sister, Edna Haga (Randy) of Dana; brother, Chuck Bapp of Dana; 15 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Frist Funeral Home on Saturday December 27, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Service at 1:00. Cremation will follow.
