Sherry L. Bracken, 62, of Terre Haute passed away on Friday May 15, 2026, at AMG Specialty Hospital in Greenfield, Indiana.

She was born in Rock Island, Illinois on June 11, 1963, to Keith Milo Tighe and Patricia Ann (Stevens) Tighe.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charles Tighe, and her grandson, Christopher Thomas.

Surviving Sherry are her daughters, Sherry Lynn Thomas (Bill), Crystal Ann McCullough, Janice Gilliland, Dawn Gilliland and Amy Horton; son, Dustin Gilliland (Kelly); brothers, Keith Milo Tighe Jr. and Jackie Tighe; sisters, Patty West and Dottie Tighe; beloved friend Joe Carter; grandchildren, Jayson Johnston, Jayda Fulk, Charles Thomas, Dakota Gilliland, Carlie Trayes, Zoey Church, Trinity Cottrell, Ciera Alkire and Brayden Alkire, and great-grandchildren, Marlene Fulk, Boston, Bronson and Jason Gilliland, Kinsley Trayes, Weslyn and Ellie Mae Cottrell.

Honoring Sherry’s wishes cremation was chosen. There will be a celebration of life at Hawthorne Park (Tupelo Shelter), 6067 E. Old Maple Ave., Terre Haute, on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
