Shirley Diane (Vicars) Pitchkites

Shirley Diane Pitchkites, 90 of Clinton Passed away on Tuesday July 30, 2024. She was born in Clinton, Indiana on February 11, 1934, to Max and Marcella (Rogers) Vicars.

Those preceding Shirley in death are her parents; husband Frank Pitchkites; and brothers Larry, Roger, and Thomas Vicars.

Shirley was a homemaker and she also worked as a purchasing manager at Vermillion County Hospital for many years. She enjoyed taking care of her yard and attending church services at the United Presbyterian Church and the First Christian Church.

Surviving is her son Ben Pitchkites of Indianapolis; brother Jim Vicars (Brenda) of Clinton, sisters-in-law Lillian Campbell of Clinton, JoAnn Pitchkites of Clinton, Joyce Shew (Allen) of Ellettsville, IN., and Diane Vicars of Elgin, Illinois; grandchildren Lara, Max and Kristina Pitchkites and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Frist Funeral Home on Saturday August 3, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
