Stella J. Zucca, 80, passed away Monday, June 7th, 2021 at Gibson Family Hospice in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Stella was born on July 30th, 1940, in Clinton to Rocco and Beulah Hollingsworth Meidate.
She was a graduate of Clinton High School.
She married John Zucca on September 23rd, 1961. He preceded her in death on September 29th, 1996.
Stella had one daughter, Cindy Zucca, born on October 4th, 1962, who preceded her in death on March 18th, 1980.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Arriego Mediate, Rocco Mediate, Joe Mediate, Lee Mediate; sisters, Sadie Shaffer, and Dorothy Johnson.
Survivors include a brother, Francis “Fran” (Martha) Mediate of Blanford, brother-in-law, Bruce Johnson of Speedway, several nieces and nephews, and very special church friends.
Visitation for Stella will be Saturday, June 12th, from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Frist Funeral Home. Services will begin at 2:00pm with Clergy John Puckett officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Clinton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to State Line Christian Church, 23000 Clinton Rd, Paris, IL 61944. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
