Terry W. Gilbert, 61 of Clinton passed away on Friday July 12, 2024, at his home.

He was born in Clinton, Indiana on June 9, 1963, to Lawrence and Blanche (Jackson) Gilbert who precede him in death. Also, preceding Terry in death are his brothers Joe and Larry Gilbert.

Terry and Kathy were married on June 11, 1983, in Blanford, Indiana. He was a truck driver and a musician. Terry could play any instrument he picked up just by sound and started playing the piano at four years old and was inducted into the Wabash Valley Musicians Hall of Fame.

Surviving is his wife Kathy (Wheeler) Gilbert of Clinton, sons Adam Gilbert of Clinton, and Cody Gilbert (Skyler) of Clinton; daughter Taylor Brann (Kevin) of Clinton, brothers Richard Gilbert (Maggie) of Clinton and Tom Gilbert (Toni) of Blanford; sisters Debbie Nestler (Scott) of Clinton, Annie Walters of St. Bernice, and Betty Cox of North Carolina; sister-in-law Kristi Gilbert of Clinton; grandchildren Aydan, Payge, Emma, Annabelle, Tanner, Oliver and Ophelia and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Frist Funeral Home on Tuesday July 16, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Service at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Frank Criswell officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
