William F. Prouse, 81, of Clinton, passed away May 18, 2022, at 1:28 AM, in Union Hospital Terre Haute. He was born February 27, 1941, to George Prouse and Minnie Thomas Prouse.
He had worked Weston Paper/Internaional Paper. He was a US Navy Veteran. He enjoyed playing golf, riding motorcycles, and enjoyed the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Denise Prouse and Lori Carrico; a brother, Norman Prouse; and two sisters, Carolyn Sue Thurman and Dorothy Dick.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Benson Prouse, whom he married May 26, 1962, in Clinton; two sons William and Joyce Prouse of Clinton and Damon and Brenetta Prouse of Mecca; two brothers, Tom Prouse of Paris and Dave Prouse of Paris; three sisters, Kathy Dolan of Illinois, Christine Clark of Illinois, and Elsie Eslinger of Clinton; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11:00-1:00 on Friday at Frist Funeral Home. Services will begin at 1:00 PM with Cheryl Montgomery officiating. Military honors will be performed. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.fristfuneralhome.com.
