William J. Ramsey Sr.

William J. Ramsey Sr., 83, of Clinton, passed away on February 11, 2023, in his home.

He was born in Danville, IL., on November 14, 1939. His parents were Mike and Edna Euriga.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Rosella Bino Ramsey and his sister Pat Hiese.

William is survived by his sons William Ramsey Jr., (Joy) of Clinton and Tom Bino (Mary) of Centenary; his daughters Tammy Wierschem (George) of Tennessee and Kelly Ramsey of California; his sisters Peggy Beard and Mickey Meadors (JD) of Clinton; his grandchildren Tommy Bino, Ashley Kelsheimer and Mike Kelsheimer; his great grandchildren Nicholas Bolinger and Kora and his best friends Herschel Riley (Betty) of Clinton and David Johnson of Paris, IL.

William was a United Mine worker and a member of the NRA.

Arrangement are being handled by Frist Funeral Home. Per William’s wishes cremation has been chosen. There will be a celebration of life held at a later date.
