Curtis Eugene Haase, 75, of Clinton, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at his residence.
He was born in Vermillion County September 9, 1945, to Curtis and Edith Young Haase.
Curt was a member of the Laborer’s Union Local # 204. He was an Army veteran and served during the Viet Nam era. He also belonged to the American Legion Post #140
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Jackie Lindsay; and a nephew, Steve Crosby.
Survivors include his wife, Pamala Penn Haase whom he married on February 21, 1966 in Clinton; a daughter, Wendy Haase of Clinton; a son Curtis (Cheri) Haase also of Clinton; 2 grandchildren, Curtis David (Alli) Haase and Carolyn Haase; 1 great-grandchild, Bennett Haase; and 2 nieces, Lisa Lindsay and Johnna Salts.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 2, 2021 from 5 to 7 pm at Frist Funeral Home in Clinton.
Cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations by made to the Parke-Vermillion County Humane Society or the St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
